Responsible AI Governance Charter

Our engineering principles and risk governance framework for deploying artificial intelligence systems in commercial and institutional environments.

Notice: This policy document is adopted as the operational Version One baseline for Mulun Technologies Co. Ltd. Ongoing review is conducted by appointed corporate legal counsel in Kampala, Uganda.

1. Ethical Foundation

At Mulun Tech, we view artificial intelligence not as autonomous decision-makers, but as cognitive amplifiers that assist human expertise.

We govern our AI deployments under international best practices, aligning with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (Govern, Map, Measure, Manage).

2. Core Principles

Deterministic Grounding: AI assistants must be anchored strictly in verified corporate records, preventing false hallucination.

Human-in-the-Loop Oversight: High-consequence decisions (financial approval, HR grading, medical workflows) must always require human verification.

Data Sovereignty & Privacy: Client proprietary data and personal customer communications are never used to train third-party foundation models.

Algorithmic Transparency: Every AI workflow must produce auditable reasoning logs explaining source references.

3. Client Deployment Standards

Before deploying any AI assistant or automated agent, Mulun conducts a risk assessment evaluating potential bias, safety edge cases, and human escalation pathways.
