Information governance and data protection notice for candidates applying for engineering, operational, and internship positions at Mulun Tech.
Notice: This policy document is adopted as the operational Version One baseline for Mulun Technologies Co. Ltd. Ongoing review is conducted by appointed corporate legal counsel in Kampala, Uganda.
1. Scope of This Notice
This Recruitment Privacy Notice applies to all applicants submitting CVs, portfolios, code repositories, or applications through our Careers, Talent Community, or Internship pages.
2. Information Collected During Hiring
Contact details: Full legal name, personal email, phone number, and residential location.
Professional background: Curriculum vitae, employment history, academic qualifications, certifications, GitHub/GitLab links, and portfolio materials.
Interview notes: Evaluative technical feedback from our engineering assessment panels and peer reviewers.
3. Purpose and Retention
Candidate data is evaluated exclusively for determining suitability for open or prospective vacancies at Mulun Tech.
Unsuccessful applications are retained in our Talent Community for twelve (12) months to consider candidates for future openings, after which records are securely destroyed unless candidate requests earlier removal via careers@mulun.tech.
